The Office of the Treasurer/Tax Collector will provide taxpayers and town employees with professional and courteous customer service. We will answer all inquiries in a timely manner. We will treat all taxpayers with equity and take all necessary steps allowable by law to collect on all past due monies.
The Tax Collector's Office is responsible for the billing and collection of the following receivables:
Real Estate & Personal Property Taxes
Motor Vehicle & Boat Excise Taxes
Water & Sewer Bills
Sewer Betterments
The Treasurer's Office is responsible for receiving all Town departmental and State monies, managing all Town funds, managing the Town's debt obligations, administering payroll and benefits, managing Tax Title accounts and foreclosures.
